Why buy? This laser thermometer has features others do not have. Includes Type K probe, tripod for measuring, along with the PC interface and software.
The ability to upload my info, no hassle, lets me monitor temperatures with ease. Software presented 0 probs.
Most my uses are electrical and automotive related. Seems to be great for at home projects, quick do it yourselves, and car maintenance.

The tool has the features i was looking for.
Type K probe for oil/lube temp check.
Ultra fast data transfer to PC. Data log. My PC recognized the software on first attempt.
I was concerned with the wireless interface being affected by moving parts as i work in industrial machine shop with high-speed equipment. NO longer a concern. Each and every time it does the job.
