I owned 2 other thermometers before buying this one and never trusted them.
Between the 2 temp varied almost 10 degrees which was a real let down since they were name brand and pretty expensive. I checked all the options available and thought this was the best option and figured what the heck, forget the price, go with a cheaper version this time and see what happens. First of all this one is accurate and the reason its so easy to get accurate results is its pre calibrated from the factory and whomever set it did an excellent job. Once the trigger is depressed the device takes over processing info with around a three second response time. Its almost impossible to get it wrong. So at my third attempt I finally got it right. Don't be swayed by price as I, I will not mention the name of the other thermometers but, I would like to say this is no "fluke" and in my opinion blows the others out of the water!

2nd Customer Review : great trial period
Would i recommend, i would have to do so at this point. Over a three week trial period the tools workmanship has shined and expectations have been fulfilled.
The rigger pull works smooth and pulls easy, i like the handle padding and controlling the panel with my thumb. Spacing between the buttons lets me work the control panel easy.
Off powering automatically and whatever data is gathered is automatically stored. This is great if i am busy so times not wasted testing again.
Very handy in tight spaces and in general.
