1st Customer Review : Time Saver
Bought this for sh*** and giggles out of curiosity. It doesn't so much save time as much as it allows me to do more in the same amount of time.
Using this laser and a measuring tape with a straight edge I can do a grid layout that positions every piece of tile on the floor. It gives me an accurate position for cutting around plumbing, into corners and doorways without the mess of chalk lines or multiple overlapping chalk lines. I didn't use any snap lines on my current tile job, just a straight edge and a pencil. This worked well for a small bathroom floor, but for a larger area I'd have to fall back on the snap line. Still, this laser square provides two very visible light lines at 90 degrees to each other.Taking a measurement off one wall, you can tell right away whether the walls are perpendicular. Without messy chalk. I suspect this tool will be seeing a lot of use. It's just too easy.

I went to a quilt class that suggested this level for squaring you quilts. I love gadgets so I got one. It works great and best in reduced lighting. It will send a beam out along the top and side of the quilt. You can see where your trouble spots are. I know this was not what the tool was intended for but it works.
