1st Customer Review : Swiss arms flashlight/laser
So, I just got this in the mail today and was very excited.I'll start with the pros. It was packaged nicely and comes with a small allen wrench to adjust tho windage and elevation of the laser. The laser is very bright and can be seen over a medium distance ( I say around 50ft-100ft?, but I'm not really sure). The flashlight is very bright too.
Now for the cons.
-I was expecting it to be made out of metal because of the price I paid for it. Unfortunately, it's made of ABS plastic I believe. It seems like it will be durable, but I would prefer it to be metal.
-In the description it says the flashlight is LED, but it is NOT. I think its an xenon light that is being used. I was hoping for a LED light but I guess this will do.
Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

I already had a laser/flashlight combo that I really liked. But I couldn't use the two features separately, so it was sort of a disappointment when I found that out. Still, it was bright, and the pressure switch worked great, so I kept it.
But then I bought a CO2 blowback pistol and thought I'd try again. I found this one at a great price, and you can use the laser or flashlight independently, or together if you prefer. Now, it doesn't have a pressure switch (though I haven't ruled out the possibility of there being one made for it sold separately) but the button is pretty easy to reach. The light is a conventional bulb, not LED or halogen or anything, but it's still plenty bright. The laser seems true so far, though I haven't had the chance to thoroughly test it yet. Even if not, it's adjustable, which is more than I can say for my other one.
I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friend-shooting-ship. Or something like that.

the swiss arms soft air flashlight/laser set was ordered on 10-16-11 and fulfilled by amazon. it arrived on 10-20 with no padding whatsoever in the package.
outside in bright sunlight, the red laser dot is no longer visible on a light-colored object 17 feet away; inside the house it is clearly visible at 37 feet but is about 1" in diameter and fuzzy.
sighted to the particular gun i was using, the laser dot is to the left and below the ill-defined center of the flashlight beam. and the light itself does not allow a crisp and even focus.
