1st Customer Review : Poor magnet good laser
I bought this laser because it would share batteries with my other M12 series of tools and that it was advertised to have a "strong magnet for attaching to work areas. It performs well (similar to by De Walt) and lasts forever on a M12 battery, but the magnet is weak and poorly placed. In fairness, it isn't any worse than others but I expected more from Milwaukee. You can get the same performance for less and should only consider this if you plan on owning other tools in the M12 line..

2nd Customer Review : Ease of use, lasting battery.
This is a great layout device that will play it's role when seeking a more efficient jobsite. Basically take the tool out, pop the battery in (save this step & store it battery-in) and turn it on, that's it. The battery lasts for what seems like forever, understandably. The laser flashes when it's more than 4 degrees out of plumb and will auto plumb when on level ground.

Plumb laser works well, faster than a string and brass plumb weight. Another best is that the unit operates off of the M12 battery system. I would rather have a rechargeable battery than constantly purchase AAA or AA batteries.
