1st Customer Review : Nice Light for Springfield XD Subcompact
I can say that this is a nice weapon light for the price. It's fairly sturdy and plenty bright. It fits very snug with no noticeable play. It has rubber o-rings in the appropriate places to protect from the weather. I've not had a chance to check it's weather proof capabilities. It's rated at 150 Lumens and I would say it is probably closer to 100. I have a 193 Lumen LED and there is a clear difference, however, my 193 also has a much larger reflector and more powerful battery. I have fired 20 rounds with this light mounted. There are no issues with the mount coming lose. Obviously with the Cree type LED there's no need to worry about it failing from being jarred. Internals of the light seems to have held up so far. The push button is nice, however, I wish it had a momentary feature. This CAN be accomplished by simply turning on the light and the partially unscrewing the cap, much the same way some surefires work. 2nd Customer Review : GREAT LIGHT.......if it worked
Bought this for my Springfield XD .40 subcompact because other reviews said it fit.I am happy to report that it does indeed fit PERFECTLY and is bright enough to light up a room with an even brighter center beam that acts almost like a big fat laser that would be great for in-home nighttime self defense situations. The only problem I had is that the damn thing only worked when it wanted to. Sometimes it worked 30x in a row then you couldn't get it to turn on 10x after that. NOT a good trait for something your life may depend on.

Works great on my xd 9mm sc. I dont like the button placement, and wish it at a switch instead of a button like others.
