I am a flashoholic. [Collector], geek, or other words my wife uses which I prefer not to use here, but if we're ever attacked by Klingons I'll have the last laugh. Seriously, it isn't much good as a flashlight, but it is a lot of fun. My 6 year old granddaughter loved it so much that I had to give it to her and order another for myself. When you pick it up you have to shoot everyone around you. You can't help it.Everyone who picks it up does it. With it's flashing red light and really cute sound effect it is a ball. It's not a lazer so it's safe for kids. I'm going to order another one for backup. Let the aliens come. I'll be ready. Will you? P.S., while I call my self a flashlight collector, my wife's term, if you must know, is a flashlight[*******]. It rhymes with grasspole....... What is that terrifying light outside? 2nd Customer Review : Saved my life
I received this keychain ray-gun for Christmas and it has already saved my life. I was out winter-camping in northern Idaho and was returning to my tent after using the facilities when I came across an ornery sea-bear in full musk (Sea-bears are a rather rare subdivision of the bear family Ursidae, distinguishable from the common brown bear by the huge fins on their back and sides, and a rank marine smell). They're very rare as far east as I was camping and I was surprised to see one, especially as I was in my pajamas and caught completely off-guard. Anyway, I just drew my trusty 'Kikkerland KRL28TC Space Gun LED Keychain with Sound', cool as nobody's business, and fired three sharp blasts right in the brute's eyes. I only had it on the 'Disable/Incapacitate' setting, so I don't think the shots were mortal, but they still knocked the animal clean over backwards and sent him running pell-mell to the West.
All in all, I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I bought these for my adult children and their spouses for Christmas. They had a blast shooting each other. Even adults need toys at Christmas and I needed something fun for their stockings.
