2nd Customer Review : Cool, but a little too dim.
When I saw the images and videos on youtube, I expected this product to be at least three times brighter than it was when I set it up and ran it.
With the dome in place, it's way cool, and makes a great futuristic looking conversation piece. The dome is actually not frosted white, but is frosted inside, with a cool iridescent coating on the outside.
The light produces an interesting, ethereal ambiance with swirling, glowing blue, green, ad red effects which resemble an auroral display at night.
It's unfortunate that the light is so dim. You really have to have minimal lighting or no lighting in order to get the full effect, especially if the light is placed more than four feet from the cieling, or wall in projection mode (dome off).
Still, it's pretty cool, and I'll still be able to use it for some special effects I'll need to use in an indie production I'm working on.

3rd Customer Review : Coolest Light Ever
My 3 year old son and I love this light. You take off the cover for an amazing light show. It almost looks like the reflection of rippling water that changes colors. The red colored laser effect swirling around is really relaxing and fun to watch. My cat even checks it out. For just a muted color changing glow you put the cover over the light. It is really worth the money. I enjoy every night watching the ceiling and walls. Sounds weird but once you get this light you will see what I mean.
