If the triggers pulled too quick between test sites it will reset itself so don't be in a hurry or the recall button will get used often. Takes a moment to process. on a good note accuracy can't be beat. Good price great quailty and easy to use!!!

2nd Customer Review : handy for garage/ multipurpose uses
Had a cheaper version of this, and as you know cheaper is not always better. Found this one to be much more accurate and reliable with its readings and range. Majority of my uses have been for my garage to check temperatures on engines, exhaust, A/C, and just about anything automotive related. My wife even borrowed it one day while cooking. She loved that is prevented cross contamination and was so easy to use. Don't skip out and buy a cheaper version. You will just end up re-buying this one.

Quick and easy to use. Highly accurate.
I purchased this for my business and it has come in handy several times. Its very easy to use and its interesting to know surface temp on about anything.
I have found out more and more uses for the infrared thermometer. I got it to check out my engine for hot spots and see if there are any problems. I now use it for just about anything.
