Since the Laser LL300 levels itself when turned on, setup is almost instantaneous, and you have fewer controls to worry about. With a self-leveling range of five feet (at 100 feet) in either direction, laser accuracy is always within 3/32 inch per 100 feet. The HI (height of instrument) Alert function will monitor the laser and should the laser be disturbed it will notify the user by turning off and blinking the HI light on the control panel. 1st Customer Review : Great Tool for any contractor.
This is a must have for any contractor. I installed deck posts and needed to cut them all the the same height. With the LL300 this task took 2 minutes. I setup the laser hit the on button it self leveled and I was marking the posts in no time. I used to rent this tool but for under $900 at Amazon.com it was time to stop wasting time and own this tool. If you do not have one you can not call yourself a contractor!
