1st Customer Review : M&P miniature weapon mounted light
This is a great weapon mounted light. It installed easily to my M&P 40. The supplied mounting pin secured the light thru one of the ridges in the slide mount rail perfectly and it's very secure. The light is bright and the casing is well made. I do not foresee any issues with this light and I'm very happy with it. Put a 100 rounds thru the gun at the range and the light stayed secure in place.

2nd Customer Review : the little light that could
What a great light for the price! Lights up a hallway,stairway or room for that matter very crisp and clear. Fits nicely on my Ruger P95. b/c of my rail setup the switches are a little far foward for comfortable 'single' hand operation but the full-on switch is smooth and simple. very pleased and will stay attached to the gun from this point forward for home D.
3rd Customer Review : decent light
This light is decently bright and the controls are well thought out, it does however, not integrate well with any of the designs i tried it on, as it sits too far forward of the trigger guard of most of the pistols. It also wasn't designed with good rail tolerances, it slips around on the rail after it's properly locked into position and has more than one eighth of an inch of slop. this means that when you fire your pistol this light is free to move forward and backwards under recoil! this leads to damage to the light and a greatly shortened service life!
also, this light can be found online for less than $50USD, so don't buy it here for more than $79!
You'd think that Smith and Wesson would design the light to interface well with, at least, their own pistols, but sadly not so! It had just as much slop on a Smith M&P as it did on any other arm i tried it on [XD, Glock, KT and even a railed 1911]
if you need to buy this light, get it somewhere...
