1st Customer Review : Great level for the price, especially when paired with a tripod
I only used it once so far installing window curtains. It made life much easier. I doubled check it with my other leveler and it is very accurate even when used at an angle 10 feet away. The only thing I didn't care for was at about 10+ feet on the side the line turns into a dotted line, but it wasn't a big deal because it was still level. The ability to clamp on things, like doors or windows, makes it very useful. This is especially useful if you have an adjustable camera tripod at home, which gives you the ability to place the level at any height.

2nd Customer Review : Finally a level the right size.
Since my tool bag is full of all kinds of measuring tools, I was looking for a laser level that wouldn't hog up that much space. I bought initially the Stanley 77-154 SP5 FatMax Five Beam Laser Kit. This is a great level, yet the whole kit makes it quite bulky. A week after my purchase, Amazon sent me an email featuring this one, given the dimensions specified , I decided to give it a try. Performance wise, it's what you expect in a laser line level. The key element here is size and portability. The switch acts also as a pendulum lock, making it a no hassle device.
So far I'm happy with the size and performance of this level.
3rd Customer Review : Good X/Y laser for the low end
Had a Pacific Laser PLS2 which is very similar in function (vertical, horizontal or both lines against a wall).
After a few years the PLS2 died and I needed a less costly replacement. The SKIL fit the bill.
PLUSES:
- Performs adequately
- Nice form factor
- Nice kit with mounting options
MINUSES:
- Not as bright as the PLS2
- Lines not as sharp as the PLS2
Overall still a good purchase, it does what I need it to do.
