1st Customer Review : Portable precision for any situation
Extremely highly recommended tool. I researched compound sliders for six months. As soon as I received this combination (Makita LS1016L saw + 195083-4 table) I used it to trim out an entire house, including 6" 52-48 ornamental crown molding. The saw by itself is the most important aspect. I needed something that I could set up and break down quickly, so first I'll say a few quick words about the table. It's great, and more heavy-duty with more features than either the Bosch or the Porter-Cable wheeled tables in a similar price range. The wheels are nice and big for navigating steps, and the spring loaded pop-up adjusts to multiple heights in a snap. The high quality pull-out legs for holding stock includes a roller at one end, and which will accomodate 16 foot lengths. The table easily stores your saw vertically like a handtruck in less than an 18" footprint. I got the saw and the table for $700 with free shipping, which has been the best deal on this combo for several months...

2nd Customer Review : A great set
I chose the 10" sliding compound mitre saw with the Makita table combo. With the combined set discount, it was a reasonable price. Quality and workmanship on both pieces is perfect. A dream to use. I built a 10x40 ft deck with three 45 deg. corners. up to 2x8 and 2x10 joists. Cutting the angles was so incredibly easy - left and right; bevel and straight 45's with the flick of the wrist. And it cut the Trex-type decking baby-bottom smooth. Then I did some interior baseboard - dead-on precise. I am glad I didn't try to save a buck for a cheaper (!!!) model or to not get the combo-table. No regrets for years to come.
3rd Customer Review : dont know why I waited so long
My contractor friends have been amazed at how easy this is to use, saying "I want one too." Assembly was easy, but a bit of a challenge with the way the tech writers instructions were so scanty. It would have been better if an American tech writer had been used.
