1st Customer Review : Good equipment...but try troubleshooting prior to purchase.
I purchased this item from a third-party seller Open Door Discount Remotes and it arrived earlier than scheduled and in perfect condition. One of the previous beams had a green power-indicator LED that would not light up (and with no power the Red LED was also dark) so I assumed it was a dead safety beam unit. I spliced in the new set from Amazon and had the same issue. It turned out I had a faulty wire behind the drywall so I ran a new low-voltage wire from the door opener to the "failed" safety beam and it worked again. Given what I learned, I would run and splice a new wire to a "dead" unit prior to ordering a replacement set. Hopefully my experience can save someone else time and money. As for me, I now have a spare set of safety beams in the event they die on me and I'm only out about $20 - still much cheaper than a home visit from my local garage door repair shop.

2nd Customer Review : Satisfied
For some reason the garage door beams on my opener stopped working (kids bump into them too much?). Rather than buy a whole new opener, decided to try to replace the beams. They arrived on time and when installed work perfectly! Saved me $$ not having to replace the whole opener.

Fixed the problem i had with my garage door. When the sun faced my doors they would not work. Repair person told me to order these to replace the ones I had and it worked...
