1st Customer Review : Very precise line laser!
I purchased this line laser after my existing line laser (Bosch GLL2-50) began to go out after less than 2 years of use. I have used this unit for about 3 weeks. I am a home remodeler and use it for trim carpentry and tile layout. I chose this unit because the lines are very precise and and compared to some other units I looked at (Hilti, Stabila,PLS), it seemed to be a good mix of accuracy, quality, and value. I use this for interior work, so I have no problem seeing the lines and the fan 180 degree makes it easy to set this in a corner and go. This seems to be more rugged than a comparable PLS laser and more versatile than the Hilti lasers that I looked at. By the way, the only Hilti line laser that I saw that seemed to be quality was the PML 32 (Made in Germany), but it did not have as many features or mounts with it. All the newer Hilti's (line laser's) appeared to be Chinese and had dimmer thicker lines. The Leica has a 3 year warranty! I was hoping that this would be a...
