1st Customer Review : An ok product
Based on some of the reviews I think I had too high of expectations for this product. It's not terrible by any means but not a product I would consider a stand out. The first thing I noticed when I plugged it in is how noisy the motor was. I bought this as kind of a relaxing aid and when I heard the loud motor it kind of ruined that aspect for me. As far as the display itself, I expected alot more movement and more disperse coloring. The colors esentailly stay in the same spot due to fixed LEDS and change shape by a rotating crystal. The lasers are ok. They do somewhat of a similar pattern based on the rotating crystal.
Overall its a cool product but I think there might be better ones out there.

2nd Customer Review : This no toy!
I loved my laserpod the minute I plugged it in. It ebbs and flows and seems to spread out over my ceiling. I'm getting another one as well!!
3rd Customer Review : Not as impressive as videos and pictures let on.
This product has a removable cover on under the base which is supposed to allow access to the orb in order to connect the AC adaptor. However, it was nearly impossible to remove that cover without prying it open with a screwdriver.
The unit runs quietly (for now). I've had other similar products that later on would start humming. Time will tell on this one.
The red and green LEDs which produce the cloud effects are extremely dim, and could stand to be at least three times brigher than in this product.
The unit produces three closters of red stars that appear to slowly twinkle and move slightly.
I expected a more robust performance than seen here.
If placed more than a few feet from a wall or the ceiling, the red, yellow, and blue clouds become very dim, and hard to see, even in very dim or dar rooms.
I was let down by the fact there are no additional lenses, dome, or crystal discs for this product.
