1st Customer Review : Great saw!!
I'm a rather new tiler who is making floor installation a new income-producing job for myself, so I decided to purchase a high quality saw. And I hit the jackpot.
Assembly was extremely easy...took just a few minutes. Once assembled on its bench, the legs of the bench are easily folded and you can pull the entire apparatus (bench and saw) on its built-in wheels. Then extend the legs when you get to your work site.
The saw itself has great power, the tray slides straight and easily, the blade is a quick-change (about 15 seconds), and controls are simple to use. I found that water was easily drained.
The blade is high quality, not a cheapie that the mfgr. threw in as an afterthought. The blade cut straight and very fast. I was cutting both ceramic and porcelain, makes no difference, it cut very quickly through both. (So far, I've cut 6", 12" and 18" tiles...straight or diagonal, and some pieces freehand.) 2nd Customer Review : This tile saw is perfect.
OK, if you are reading this you are tired of wasting money on renting or you are a tile professional looking for a new or replacement.....either way this is the saw for you.
The 1st job I used it on was to tile a 24 X 21 sunroom, all cuts where dead on straight and perfect. I replaced the original blade with a thin kerf RTC Razor (although the one it came with is also of good quality). The saw is well made, sturdy, well powered and loaded with extras.
For the money, you will not find better. After using it every work day for a month now, the only mod I made was to add wheelie bars (just above the casters) to avoid tipping onto the heavy end.
